A Review of the «Harvard Egg Study»

In February 2009, leading experts within the fields of nutrition research, endocrinology, cardiology and family medicine were brought together for a Scientific Roundtable Discussion on Eggs and Cholesterol - supported by the Egg Farmers of Canada.

The following four speakers presented information in their area of expertise on eggs, cholesterol and heart disease:
 

  • Nutrition: Dr. Peter Jones, Canada Research Chair in Nutrition and Functional Foods, Richardson Centre for Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals, University of Manitoba

  • Cardiology: Dr. Christian Constance, Division of Cardiology, Université de Montréal

  • Endocrinology: Dr. David Lau, Departments of Medicine and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Julia McFarlane Diabetes Research Centre, University of Calgary

  • Family Medicine: Dr. Richard Ward, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary
